MAJOR SPECIAL EVENT SECURITY PREPARATIONS
The National Incident Management System (NIMS) provides a set of standardized organizational structures (such as the Incident Command System [ICS], multi-agency coordination systems, and public information systems), as well as requirements for processes, procedures, and systems designed to improve interoperability among jurisdictions and disciplines in various areas. This includes training; resource management; personnel qualification and certification; equipment certification; communications and information management; technology support; and continuous system improvement. Major special event security preparations generally require multi-jurisdictional, all hazard/all discipline support with the NIMS/ICS framework.
The JSGA Presponse Solutions Group has extensive preparedness and operational experience for major special events ranging from Olympic Games, Super Bowl Games, other major sporting events, large conferences, and other potentially high-risk events that require extensive planning and preparation well in advance of the event.
